We couldn’t have been more thrilled to work with Evans Entertainment for our wedding! From day one, we felt completely at ease talking with Chris about our ideas for processionals and wedding songs that were a little off the beaten path, including the Love Theme from Superman and He’ll Make Me Happy from the Muppets Take Manhattan. Even if the songs weren’t currently available in the database, we were able to email them to Chris to be used during the wedding which was a great convenience. Chris guided us effortlessly in coordinating the day and kept the dance floor completely full all evening long! Two months later, we are still receiving compliments from our guests about how much fun they had and how terrific the music was. Our main goal was to have a wedding reception that was FUN above anything else and Chris definitely made that a reality! Our wedding came the weekend after Superstorm Sandy and our venue had lost power until the hour of our rehearsal. It was a great comfort to contact Chris about the possible last minute change of venue and know that as a consummate professional, he’d be able to accomodate any changes we had to make. Chris Evans was extremely professional throughout the entire planning process leading up to our wedding. Communication with him was easy, and his responses to our questions were always very prompt via e-mail or text. His website is very user friendly and provided us a neat way to pick out the preferred music list. He was very organized and helped us stick to a timeline so we never felt overwhelmed. The day of the wedding, he practiced the introductions with us so that he had all the proper name pronunciations for the intros. He was very good at detecting the mood of the crowd and always seemed to play the perfect song at the right time. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with Chris Evans and would highly recommend him to any of our friends/ family who need a high quality DJ for their event.

We cannot say enough great things about the job Evans Entertainment did at our wedding.  We were very particular (probably too particular) with how we wanted certain things to happen from video’s being played at certain times of the evening to the wedding party intro’s being listed down to the very second and they were able to pull off each of them with precision.  The lighting was simply out of this world and they even made some additions to the dance floor lighting when the time was right to give another layer of excitement later in the evening.

Prior to the event the Client section of the website was amazing and I had never seen something like that from DJ’s before.  It is user friendly and allows you to list the songs that are “Must Plays”, “Play If Time Allows” and “Don’t Plays.”  Aside from that it gave us the flexibility to work on our playlist at our convenience and build the list of songs for things like the Father/Daughter Dance, Cake Cutting.  This way it doesn’t let you miss anything so come the day of the wedding all our faith was in their hands and they exceeded expectations without a doubt.

At the end of your wedding you always hope that people will go out of their way to give feedback and we had many people comment on the things that Evans was responsible for.  All of which were positive and refreshing to know we made the right decision.  Our Best Man booked with Evans Entertainment just a few days after our wedding so that says it all right there.

My husband and I were thrilled to have DJ Chris Evans at our wedding. We had a bad experience with another DJ and he was able to step in two months before our wedding and help us out. He met with us twice before the wedding to go over all of the song choices and timelines. He was very thorough and professional. He had great suggestions for song choices and made the whole experience very easy. He was very accommodating and made announcements for everything we needed during the ceremony and reception. We loved using the website to update our favorite and least favorite songs and to make changes to the timeline as they came up. We found that very helpful as we were planning all of the last minute details. When it came to the night of the wedding, he was on time and had everything we needed set up including a microphone for the outdoor ceremony. He kept the pace of the event moving but without rushing us and we were thrilled with the music and the sound system. We had our wedding at the Mercer Museum and they are very strict in terms of lighting and sound equipment. He worked out all of the details with them so we didn’t have to and it sounded great. He got everyone in the family up and dancing and everyone had a spectacular time! We would absolutely recommend his company to anyone planning an event! Perfect!

When my husband and I planned our wedding, we had no idea what to do or what to expect. Like most brides, I took care of most of the details from the menu, the cake, linens, etc. But there was one thing that I forgot, the DJ. Our wedding was small affair so, I thought that we would be able to wing it. Boy, was I wrong! The only music that I had picked out was our first dance. Chris Evans is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is a complete professional who has a passion for what he does.
